happy little giveaway!!

It's been kind of a down day for me today, emotionally... So, I thought I'd do a little giveaway!

Giving things away always cheers me up. :)

Here's a little hand stamped copper charm, stamped with the word *happy*.
(A pretty faceted light green bead dangles on top of it.)

this is what it will look like when you wear it.

All you have to do to enter to win is leave me a comment telling me about something that has made you HAPPY today!! Or, tell me something that you do to cheer yourself up.

I'll pick a winner tomorrow morning.

  1. I took my youngest to Kindgergarten roundup today. It was fun, but also kind of sad that my baby will be in school soon. Hope you have a great day!

one thing that's made me happy today is my children being so sweet and making me 'breakfast' with their little kitchen set.

  5. I was woken up this morning by giggling coming from the crib next to our bed. Our 3 month old was giggling and cooing at me so I grabbed him up and we snuggled while he ate...or at least tried too...he was so busy smiling and giggling at me to pay attention to his eating. I could have stay like that all morning!! :)

  8. My oldest 11-month-old twin son has never been a cuddler while his brother loves to cuddle. Well Michael woke up from his nap first so we were playing in the living room when he crawled up into my lap and just wanted to rock. I think my heart was literally singing!

  9. Today I observed a 5 year old boy create an ingenious contraption to write his name with- the best part, as I laughed and exclaimed over him with delight, this often melancholy kiddo grinned and continued his task with confidence. Seeing and calling out the gold in others always makes me happy!

Keeping our spirits up and those around us is a full time job here in Christchurch, sorry to harp on about it, but having your city destroyed is depressing much, not to mention the 7000 + aftershocks, can you believe it??Anyway spending time with our neighbours and friends has become so important in staying sane! it makes me happy.

  12. I have been down too... it's hard to pick yourself up when things are out of your control (or even if they are!) but I have found that no matter how grumpy and frustrated I get... sitting down for even a few minutes to read a book with my kids does amazing for the spirit... :)

  13. I have those days. Today I was able to spend a good 5 hours just hand quilting. It's relaxing, stress free, and puts me that much closer to a finished quilt. This definitely makes me happy.
