If you're looking for my giveaway, click here.
I've got a new favorite necklace. It's gonna be hard to let this one go!

And the coolest part about this one is how it came to be. I've been making A LOT of stamped jewelry lately. I've had a bunch of custom stamped pieces, and I have been working late into the night over the past week or so. Last night, I made sixteen necklaces. Yes, you read that right. Thank God, the baby was taking an extra long nap and allowed me a few solid hours to work without distraction.
For those of you that don't know the process, I cut my copper pendants from large sheets of copper. And you know me, I don't like to waste anything, so I always like to make pendants from the leftover "scraps" of metal. And this BEAUTIFUL pendant is a result of one of those "scraps".

And to me, that's the coolest part about it. It's such a perfect picture of what true BEAUTY is - in the eyes of God.
He takes the "scraps" in our lives, the ugly bits, the parts we'd like to forget, and turns them into something BEAUTIFUL.
And that's just one of the many reasons why I love Him SO MUCH!

BEAUTIFUL Hand Stamped Copper Necklace

"My beloved speaks and says to me: "Arise, my love, my BEAUTIFUL one, and come away."
Song of Solomon 2:10

"To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them BEAUTY FOR ASHES, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified."

Isaiah 61:3

  1. So wonderful! It's the beauty from ashes that shines the brightest. Thanks for sharing!

  2. How clever, simple, and sweet!
