Happy Baby Patchwork Quilt

First off, if you're looking for my hand stamped sterling silver pendant giveaway, click here.

I'm starting to get really busy with making things for my upcoming booth at Harvest Fest (Sept 30 - Oct 2nd). The past week or so, I've been going through all my fabric and cutting up quilt squares. Two days ago, I made the first quilt of the bunch (hopefully, when I'm done, I'll have about five to offer in my booth). This first one features all of my brightest and busiest floral prints. I also sewed a long piece of pink ric-rac along the entire middle of the quilt. I think it adds that extra bit of whimsy to the blanket!

Happy Baby Patchwork Quilt

I love all those happy prints and the fun pink ric-rac!

I top-stitched it with a zig-zag stitch

the blanket is backed with a soft pink flannel

here's the full size view
(thanks, Benjamin, for holding it up for me to photograph!)

Well, what do you think? I hope that it sells at Harvest Fest. I think it's super cute and fun. Sure to make a baby happy!!
Have a wonderful Labor Day!
